WikiGambling.org respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. We take claims of copyright infringement seriously and respond promptly in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512, and other applicable laws.

If you believe that any content published on WikiGambling.org — including casino reviews, sportsbook listings, images, text, or other materials — infringes your copyright, please submit a formal DMCA notice to our designated copyright contact. We will review and process valid notices as quickly as possible.

Reporting Copyright Infringement (DMCA Notice)

To file a valid DMCA notice, your written notification must include all of the following elements as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):

  • Your physical or electronic signature (or the signature of a person authorized to act on your behalf).
  • Identification of the copyrighted work(s) that you claim has been infringed (or a representative list if multiple works are involved).
  • Identification of the specific material on WikiGambling.org that you claim is infringing, including sufficient information for us to locate it (such as a direct URL or detailed description).
  • Your full contact information, including your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Only notices that fully comply with Section 512(c)(3) of the DMCA will be considered valid. Incomplete submissions may delay or prevent processing.

Important Notice: Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability, including damages, court costs, and attorney’s fees.

Counter-Notification Procedure

If content that you submitted to WikiGambling.org (such as a review, image, or comment) has been removed or disabled due to a DMCA notice and you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification.

Your counter-notice must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Your full contact information (name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address).
  • Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal (such as the original URL).
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district where your address is located, or if outside the United States, the Northern District of California, and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notice or their agent.

Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we may forward a copy to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file legal action within 10–14 business days, we may restore the removed material at our discretion.

Repeat Infringers

WikiGambling.org may, in appropriate circumstances and at its sole discretion, disable or terminate access for users who are determined to be repeat infringers or who repeatedly violate intellectual property rights.
